I'm bringing Steve Harrison to your attention because politicians like him are fairly rare: focused, frank, and respectful of the voting public. I happen to think that these are the character traits that set Obama apart from his opponent, and Harrison reveals similar qualities. He's running for the Congressional seat vacated by another in a long line of GOP philanderers, Vito Fossella.

Stonewall Democrats Endorse Harrison
The Albany Project
The Stonewall Democratic Club of New York City, a group that advocates for LGBT causes and supports candidates who are friendly to gay causes, has released their list of endorsements for the 2008 election.
The group backed Steve Harrison over Mike McMahon in NY-13.
